Today, on 27th November, I have done cutting the parts of my chair prototype.

The chair is 30% complete. The armrest of the chair is still in progress while the legs and the backrest are complete. By the next week, I will done attached all the part and doing the finishing for the chair.

This week, I have been working on my chair prototype. Every part/component of the chair has been measure and cut.Hopefully by next week , the chair prototype would be attached and combine to form the real chair.

On 13 November, my ideas has been develop and I'm going to do tape drawing to make sure the accurate view of my chair dimensions. All the technical drawing and 3D rendering to view the actual size and measurement. Its time to working in the workshop !

The design of my orang ulu tattoo chair has provided.And I'm happy about it. Now, I will develop on building the mock-up of the chair which is in 1:8 scale. All part of the chair has been design with its measurement.

Today, I have sketch 6 ideas from the idea concepts. My lecturer has approved 2 ideas concept which met the specifications of my orang ulu tattoo chair. I will heard comments soon from my lecturer and starting to create a mock-up for the design. I will updated the design in 3D form and small scale chair mock-up as soon as possible.

Today, I has been submit and propose my ideas through the sketch that I did in this few weeks. I have proceed with my ideas and starting to doing the mock-up on the Orang Ulu's Tattoos chair. It's time to work at the industrial design workshop.

On this week ( 29 October2014 ), I was asked to sketch ideas for my Orang Ulu's tattoo chair. There are 3 type of Orang ulu's tribes that has been research in Sarawak which is Kayan,Iban and Kenyah. These  tribes has awesome and popular tattoos design in Sarawak !

This week , I have updated my proposal draft and construct a questionnaire that will be used in my research . Some data of the tattoos of the orang ulu's are collected and analyse based on chair design. Its great to know that the tattoos of Orang ulu are unique and versatile . I've sketch ideas of tattoos design that is applied onto the chair ! Glad to see U, I will update as soon as possible about my project. :)

This week , we has been asked to do some brainstorming on the project . Besides, the lecturer has announced that we must prepared the sketches and conceptual ideas. I'll try my best to finish the proposal so that I can continuously develop my ideas on the chair design !

This week on 1st October,I has been asked to write down my proposal about my Final year Project.The title are "Studying the orang ulu's tattoo design in creating the chair with implementation of jointing and aesthetic elements " cool huh ? Can't wait to see the next progression.
